I think it’s kind of high.
Might ask if they’d take say.. 35-36k
They may drop the price, money talks.
Tell them they can keep the headache rack, if you won’t be needing it.

I’m going to give it a shot and see what happens from there. If they decline guess I will have to wait for another truck to come my way and go from there . -
I have 2 of those with catS , i feel like driving bentley when i need little things like trim or door seal ... kenworth dealer doesn't stop surprising me !

price seems a little high, probably did step deck or something open along those lines, don’t see mention of a wet kit but guess it could of had a mechanical low bed with the ramps. only has 40 rears so I doubt it had too hard of a life. -

being a mx 13 can you even turn them up much past where they are? That might be the reason for the 169 13 -
Didn’t know u could chop the ramps off at back. But the price is steep still I researched and the truck came back at 38K -
This truck used to pull an RGN trailer and did oversize more than likely (strobes and 5th wheel ramp for coupling)
Personally I'm a cummins girl myself. I've found Paccar engines are great when new but once they pass 500k mark most of these trucks are sold, that's why there's a ton of them on TP and other sites reasonably priced (cheap)
As far at the T660 goes, I love mine. I have a custom 144 inch sleeper and stay out for 3 to 4 months at a time. Interestingly an 86 inch studio sleeper can be converted to a custom sleeper, it's called a custom conversion, ICT does them also a place in Dallas used to. Gives you a shower, small fridge and a small sink option or more cabinet space.
You shouldn't have much problem finding a decent T660 on the used market with a good engine or something worth putting a better engine in. A good truck is one that doesn't constantly have you in the shop keeping you from doing your job, that's what I look for: maintenance history. I want to see how frequently the truck as been in and out of the shop.
Happy hunting,
SophiaTug Toy and Midwest Trucker Thank this. -
I think I actually know the kid who used to run that truck for Lonestar. Makes sense why I haven't seen him lately, he must be in a T680 now.
Pretty much everything else has been covered.
