This part is leaking coolant. 2015 cascadia with parksmart apu system. One coolant line in, one hose going up to the parksmart unit in sleeper. One exhaust pipe coming out. Can anyone tell me what this part is called? I beleive its part of the parksmart system. Thanks in advance for any help..

Looks like a diesel-fired Webasto heater unit.

It looks like an Espar Hydronic D5 coolant heater.

Is leaking coolant the only issue you have with it? If it is, that unit needs to cleaned so you can locate the source of the leak. My guess would be that the hose clamps just need to be tightened. I got about 8 years out of mine before the fan quit and I replaced the unit. If yours needs to be replaced, I have a spare one that I would sell.

If you are unaware, YouTube has some videos on care and maintenance if you are interested.

It blows waYa it was a nightmare to get to, put I managed to get it pulled, and clean it up. Couldn't tell where the leak was coming from, so I made sure all the clamps were on securely, and reinstalled. Still leaking. Bummer. Thinking it might be a gasket or something inside the unit.
The heating and cooling work fine in the sleeper. It was a nightmare to get to, but I got it pulled out and cleaned up. Couldn't tell where the leak was coming from, so made sure all hose clamps were on secure and re-installed. Still leaking. Thinking it might be a bad gasket or something. Kind of at a crossroads wether i should pull it again and open up the unit and see If I can identify whats going on, or just order a new one. Fkn things are expensive. How much are you trying to get for the one you have?

Are you able to temporarily hang the unit vertically with maybe a tarp strap and then run it while watching for the leak? Also, if there is extra play in the coolant hoses you can cut .5" to 1" off the end and then reattach to the heater. That has worked for me in the past. I would also try new clamps.
There are two o rings inside under the top cover. Watch some you tube videos before you take it apart.
If you want to buy mine, I'm sure we can work something out but it is worth trying everything else first.
