    Got some Questions
    So we have the First player. The Mega broker, I wont mention the name(not sure if i can) But based in Cincinnati .We have hauled a specific Equipment for this broker One time.(now 2 times after today)
    You have player number two, A medium large carrier /wareHouser /brokerage Co. So we been trying to get on with this carrier/warehouser/broker since Jan 2020. got some wires crossed an took so long.
    We are finely getting signed on an just did our packet today. And this Co told me 1.50 too 1.80 per mile Hauling this equipment !!! WTF
    So Player number One ,gets this equipment from player two, Who then pimps it out to people on load boards.
    So the Load paid ok thru player number one.

    An we would make out much better with the mega broker instead of going direct with player number one That handles all the shipments of this equipment .
    What gives?
    This makes ZERO sense ,we should be making more being direct with player number two . Our MC is 25 months old we are very new, still. An we DO NOT RELLY UNDERSTAND THIS GAME. An having one hell of a time getting our own direct costumers.
    Player number two, hauls all the finished equipment from a manufacturing facility in another state to there warehouse for distribution in my state.
    I first drove in the 90's.then left for long time till 10 years ago, but drove for 1 guy then got my own truck after a year.an worked for a local company then got my mc, so not lot of experience doing carrier stuff.
    I will not haul for 1.50 to 1.80 can t afford too

    How do you know who gets what from who?

    Maybe, and this is just maybe, but maybe the mega gives him so many trucks a week then he gets a better rate for it.

    Maybe they think that you are a newer company and they can take advantage of you?

    The only thing I can say is who cares? You have your own authority you can haul for anybody.

    Me right when I first got my authority I had someone from a quarry near here approach me, I did not approach them, he approached me and asked me to come haul for them.

    When I went down to the office and talk to them I couldn't even get a call back nobody would talk to me so what do you do?

    You have your own authority so you go find other stuff which is exactly what I did and I've done well for myself.

    If you do better get the loads from the mega. If all they want to do is pay you a minimum amount of money why get upset about it?

    You have your own authority. Go find other loads.

    They obviously for whatever reason don't want to do business with you or they want to pay you scraps.

    You tried it didn't work forget about it and move on.

    And by the way you're really not supposed to be back soliciting them if you worked through the Mega first.

    You do realize that is wrong and the mega has it in their contract to come after you if you would hook up with their shipper.

    Maybe the shipper looks at it that it's a punk moved by you to go behind the megas back and that's why they did that.

    If you make it a habit of trying to go after shippers after you vote for them through someone else you may you bang your head up against the wall like that. It's wrong and some people really don't respect that.

    It's like the girl that you thought was in love with you on the first date now you can't get ahold of her. You call and call and call but she won't call you back and you sit there and cry why why why.

    No you simply move on because for whatever reason it's not working.

    Have you seen the palace the mega broker is building in Cincinnati?
    More than doubling their office space, must be making a few dollars off someone.
