    Looking at two Pete 579s

I like the red one cause it has the 500Hp but it’s set up for flat bed. So I would need to remove the ramps to get it to dry van specs but mileage is high and they want 38,500 which seems super high.

the Blue Pete offers a espar bunk heater but less horse power at 455.

I’m leaning towards the blue one cause less mileage and cheaper and bunk heater will make a difference.
I pull dry van average lord for me is 25-30k I run Midwest and southwest mostly with my own authority

To me the heavier specs of the red one make it more valuable to me... And it's only about 100k difference in mileage. That 13,200 steer axle is nice to have so you can put over 12k on the steers... I am constantly pushing 12,500 or better on my steers when I'm grossed out at 78k+

Bunk heaters are cheap and easy install... I wouldnt buy a truck based on that at all.

Use the filters on Truck Paper and spec the truck exactly the way you want it.
