    Empty 53’
    Winds 25-30 mph

headed east on 70 from Plainview, Tx open flat roads

I’ve only ever pulled 40 footers this way, how goes it with a 53’ on this terrain?

Tandems to the rear will help. Unless you have the skirts, then it won’t help as much.

Winds will be out of the North switching to Northwest later today in that area. Just watch the vegetation along the fence lines to judge the wind velocity. Gust will be more of an effect in the bottoms of the rolling hills as it is funneled there.

25 to 30 mph with an empty dry box is not an issue.
