Every time I hear Basket weaving reminds me of Joe Namath
When Joe Namath signed with the Jets he did his first press conference in New York.
A smart tailed writer asked him, "Did you major in basket weaving at Alabama"?
Without batting an eye, Namath immediately responded, "No, I started out majoring in basket weaving but it was way too difficult. So I changed my major to journalism".

I don't know if it's been mentioned but that Hill Phoenix warehouse on Battery Dantzler is now four different businesses, none Hill. And they made improvements. 14 or so more feet off your nose, all the crap cluttering the docks is gone, and there's now a drive at the far end so yiu can turn around in a drop lot. Had a live broker load there this morning is was a much better experience. Even the dude loading me had a waaaaaay better attitude than anyone I ever dealt with from Hill. Fast, too. 20201203_092650.jpg 16070067943241411804814236698365.jpg

It's always good to have your petunias arranged, helps prevent bunching.

My guess would be they moved out when they moved into the old HON warehouse down the street.

We are driving a 21 Cascadia, until they get the lane departure crap fixed on our 18.

This one has active lane assist. It will steer for you. If you get on the fog line to make room for another truck to pass, it tries to turn the wheel to the left. This causes you to weave around fighting it. Ain't technology great!

If you turn on the cruise and active lane assist, it will steer for you too. Its like driving on ice! If it doesn't feel resistance for a bit, it will warn you several times, then stop steering.

If one were to attach a bungee cord to the wheel, giving it slight resistance, I think it would drive itself. Watch, someone will try that!

My goodness, it’s been a heck of a week. First, I came down with a migraine that went on for a day and a half.
Then a friend of ours thought he had Covid. Thank goodness it is only the flu. My husband had been at their house the day before thanksgiving, so we were really sweating this. The friend has had 4 negative tests. Still, a waiting game, though.
Yesterday, I took our 15 year old cat to the vet because she had been slowly going down hill. Turns out she had liver failure and heart disease. Made the hard decision to have her put out of her misery this afternoon. Of course, I flash back to my mother. I’m a mess-yet again. Zero drive to do anything, much less care that I don’t have the drive to do anything. I wish I could just take off for the next couple months. Focus on my healing instead of dealing with the new local bonehead in dispatch. He stresses me out with all his confusion and lackadaisical attitude. This year has really sucked hind teat.
