I have never been to a plant that requires them. Now a lot require your flashers to be on when backing.

I thought this thread was going to be about a Gordon Ramsey employee motivation video.
Every worksite I have been on in the last couple of decades has required them. The requirement* is written into our provincial occupational health and safety code.

They make "white noise" backup alarms instead of that Obnoxious beep. They don't echo as much, so if you hear one, you know where it's really coming from.

For some dumb reason the trailer manufacturers decided to make the new models with lights the size of a dime. Good luck finding those at the Love's or TA.
