    According to what I understand the cameras while helpful for viewing can actually steer u back into the lane. So a truck that brakes when it deems necessary and now steers too. Not my kind of truck for ice/snow...

    Supposedly, the new Cascadia with the Detroit Assurance system can come to a complete stop by itself in traffic, then proceed when traffic clears. I have that system on my Shaffer truck, and the sound effects from the system when it falsly thinks you're too close is mind numbing. I have yet to try it in stop and go traffic.

    The driver I know at FCC actually has cameras mounted on his door jam that shoot down the side of his truck and trailer, and yes there is an additional video screen mounted in the cab to show the camera footage.

    Yes used FCC trucks that normally have 250K miles before they go into the lease program. The extended warranty is through Freightliner or Detroit cant recall, so once the manufacturer warranty runs out it covers a lot of parts or even an engine rebuild. FCC just adds the extended warranty onto the truck payment every week. I think it raised my payment $25 dollars a week.

    Setting at Lincoln , Ne Freightliner
    What I am thinking is the power steering pump is going out in my truck . Making noise and wanting to lock up at times going backwards. Plus Freightliner said there are recalls and updates for my truck.
    Then my APU is leaking motor oil . Breakdown said truck will have to go to a different shop for that after Freightliner gets done . I guess it is my turn to hang out in the shop might as well laugh then cry
