2020 Western Star 4900EX & Connex 3300

I don't know what size a 3300 is, but I can tell you the mounting bezel is fairly tight to the sides of the slot. And the bezel is Cobra 29-sized.

 

I went looking for interior pics but couldnt see what i was looking for..If you get to see inside one look at the bottom of that over head cb mount area and see if there are vent holes..If so use them or build a bracket to fit..

 

Ok here is another idea..
Double sided sticky tape it to your dash,run your own coax..
My 955 would fit in my cascadia but stuck out to far and from sitting below it bljrred the screen some..Soo after seeing others do it (even though i said no way)i tried it..Its solid bud,solid..

 

That's a different header than I have (4900SF carhauler, ) mines half as tall as that. Looks like the same mount though. The way it works, the radio mounts to ears on the bezel, so if you need an extra half inch, you're probably going to need to figure out another mount. Having a sheet metal shop make a bezel to fit your radio, then trimming the opening to fit would be easy enough.

 

If they ordered them without CB installed, it won't have that mounting bezel, at least in the past. But any competent sheet metal shop could make one to fit your radio, as long as your radio will fit in the cutout.
