I've been ordering off of Uber eats lately. Great decision. I get whatever I want in the area delivered right to me.

I have had two different Loves receive things for me. I called the TS and talk to the manager. They both were very helpful and held it in the office till I got there.

Using Loves as a mailing addy, never felt a need to, but would all locations be trustworthy to not open valuables? Be nice for out of state or travel buys to show up there then grab them ...good tip. Thank you.

I was at the CandH plant in Northern California where long waiting for loads is normal. The check-in shack had a menu and contact info for a local diner. They had everything. Steaks, burgers, pasta, pizza, chicken, you name it. Fair prices and quick service.

I carry a small, folding ebike in the truck. For those long trailer waits, I recently got the Door-Dash app and a couple of others. Figure make a few bucks in areas I'm waiting in and kill some time. Of course it would be even funnier if I was taking food back to other trucks parked at the given truck stop.

I use Door Dash at the yard and on the road. Sometimes I just don't want what is in the refrigerator nor one more Subway sandwich.

I've had Dominoes deliver to a forwarding yard several times before, always late at night. They would get confused when they saw rows of trucks but no house, so I learned to walk over to the gate and meet them there (it wasn't any further than walking from the CAT scale to the fuel desk at a Love's, so I didn't mind the fact that they weren't delivering directly to the truck). This yard was quite a ways from their shop, so I always tipped extra.

    My dispatcher outdid himself.
Got a street to park on. Deep in So Cal.
I signed up for door dash. Had teriyaki salmon and sushi delivered to the truck.
Those people always get a kick out of delivering to a truck.
