Pretty rough week for me, truck went down Monday evening with some kind of oil pressure sensor fault, made it in to Tallahassee where they checked it out Tuesday, they weren’t able to do the work so I drove it over to lake city and switched in to a spare, I hate spares, I’m a neat freak and it absolutely blows my mind to see how other people treat our equipment. Either way, made the best of it, ran a load up to atlanta and then went up to the mountains to get a load of marble, brought that back and preloaded for Monday. Luckily my truck was ready to be picked up this morning, the shop made a mess of it as well, which led me to string together enough expletives that 5 weeks worth of Sunday’s might not repair. Here’s hoping the next few weeks of this year go smoothly, I’m ready to forget 2020, safe travels to those left reading the thread.

@650cat425 doesn’t sound trivial at all, I’m thankful to continue working while my truck is down, but I feel the need to sleep in a blanket made of Lysol wipes in the process. Completely blows my mind how some of these guys live, this truck had literally just been turned in by another road driver, so there’s no denying those are the conditions he lives in while in the road.

Im gonna have a bit of reading to do to catch up on here it looks like. I used to pull 40 foot frameless otr. Got 4 yrs experience with it. My wife and i run otr team. If anyone has any ideas of dry bulk outfits that have enough long haul work on dumps that might keep a team busy please let me know. I'd love to get back into it. Has to be non hazmat for the next year.

@Professor No-Name JK Williams might be an outfit to look at for team work, they’re a long haul end dump company, really nice equipment.
