Hey guys truck has been sitting for almost 3 years.
2013 Peterbilt 386 with a Paccar MX13 epa10.
Got 2 engine codes that came on,
Dpf fuel enable actuator
Egr delta pressure
Could this happen from water in the fuel? Winter fuel from 3 yrs ago
MX13 EPA10

Doubt it. If its been sitting my money is on wiring. Rodents love to chew on wiring.

Bump

Aftertreatment Fuel doser or 7th injector is likely plugged. If driven with fault active EGR derate is enabled and must be shut off with Davie. Regular doser cleanings are needed on EPA 10 they plug over with carbon quite often, worse with high idle and light load.
Also check BPV link and pivot freeze up often from setting at actuator yoke.spsauerland Thanks this. -
Are both lights related to the doser or 7th injector? -
Hard to tell without actual fault codes
The first is most most definitely related to DPF fuel dosing. What I have given you is most common issue.
Second is EGR derate emposed, likely from above problem. Dont go crazy changing or checking EGR parts because it just needs the derate reset after the root cause is fixed. -

Far from DIY. You need Davie to run the flow and leak text and also to reset the derate. Accessing the doser for cleaning on EPA10 is also a PITA. This is also considered to be routine maintenance along with DPF cleanings.
Find a good shop that can TS and find the problem. Did pete log a regen and did it complete a stationary? This type of issue really should be straight forward for a dealer. If the faults come and go it may be a intermittent wiring issue. Again really need to see printouts for exact codes. -
The lights come on after driving for a bit they go away when you turn off engine and back on but come on shortly again. It did this for quite a while till the engine light for derate came on and would not go till dealer removed it.
