    hell no its dead some that have contracts are ok but they been around for awhile
    or those that SCREWED SOMEONE OVER TO GET WHERE THEY ARE i'm not naming names from debeque colorado on the north side of the highway behind the old west hauling sign oooppps did i say too much hehehehehe but seriously pretty slow im running dry vans now we got some trucks doin a little belly dump work some rig moves up to your patch but pretty dead

    yeah hylands still goin theres still alittle goin on but not BOOMIN like earlier this year or last guys with contracts and those that have been here for a long time will keep work . us little guys that have 2 trucks or less are just thrown out with the trash till it starts BOOMIN again . thats why i moved to dry vans maybe pick up a reefer next year not sure what to do times are tough everywhere

    Olblu3622, i like that pic you have there, i drove a truck pretty much like that when i first did any otr, same color blue infact, it was a nice truck, except no a/c and no p/s, other than that it was nice ride, pulled a 40-20 train with it. 400 big cam cummins and a 10 speed.

    What did you do there in the oilfield, i mostly hauled cement and sand with a little water and some equipment moving for slumber j (easier to spell)

    Same hauled sand leased to McKimms in rock springs then ran STONE TRANSPORT for a short while . finished with Old west hauling before the end of year i broke out with Halliburton in 1989 so ive been OIL FIELD TRASH till this year

    How was mckimms to work for?
    I heard stone turned out to be a joke and rippoff and oldwest was running pretty cheap i saw killer b needed a driver about a week ago been told there pretty good to drive for.

    Not for me i'm happy out here no more mud barely throw chains twice all year long and my trucks get to get polished and stay clean . i make about half as much $$$
    but i'm happier and alot less stress . kinda nice runnin mostly legal . haven't missed a nights sleep yet . IN THE PATCH i was lucky to sleep 8 hrs all week when we were BOOMIN
