    It's all the same.You end up paying $80.000 for a $20.000 truck.

Small company in omaha that im with sold me the truck for wholesale value , worked hard for 2 years and watched my money .
Didn't waste it on stupid toys or a new boat .
In those 2 years added a new apu , overhauled the engine and went thru the rest of the replacing components before they failed .
Its pretty much a new truck now and shows it .
Going to partially retire next year .

What company (s) does that ?
That makes the taxes cheaper on the buyer.

No offense Chinatown, but after looking at some post on greatwides Facebook page and some other forums. I wouldn't really recommend them to anyone. I mean it could just be poor management on the drivers part. But almost all of them saying just about the same things were happening to them.

Been looking for a decent lease purchase for quite a while but haven't found one yet. I would do either flatbed or dry van....no reefer.

In the last 4 months I have gone through every lease purchase contract I could get my hands on. Not a single one was worth the paper it was printed on to the driver.

Here are some of my favorites from all of the leases I read:

    1. If operator goes to a DOT inspection and they find something wrong, driver will pay company $300.

    2. If operator wishes to cancel this contract they may at any time, however they may be subject to the full cost of the entirety of the lease, company discretion.

    3. Company will hold $500 a week until the escrow $5,000 is completed, if operator does not give 90-day notice prior to termination of the least they lose the entire escrow.

of course my favorite ones is the ones that will not send you a copy of a blank lease. They also will not give you specifics of trucks and insist that you show up in Chicago, and at that time they will show you the trucks and walk you through the lease.....

None is good for the driver, no not one.
