My first union job was with a California Interstate carrier Nielsen Freight Lines, Reddaway wanted to buy them to get rights into commiefornia, owner said no then died of heart failure 4 months later when his wife found out about his affair. True story.

    Hi 13 Speed Road Ranger

I have a lot of TNT truck photos on the following website :

    TNT - Barraclou.com

The collection was greater when it was on Hank's website but anyway you will find a lot of
photos of the good old days.

My favorite of yours were all the expedited TNT companies. Olex and Taxi Truck I really liked all those.

    Mike,

Here is a old Ford owned by a friend of mine in Pennsylvania on display at the American Towman Exposition in Baltimore, MD in 2015. I will have to find the pics of the Louisville trucks I owned years ago all with wrecker bodies on them.

That's cool. I like it Autotow (out of business now) here in Cleveland had a Ford tow truck just like that. It's cool.

Brian I bet that Jeep was one great wrecker. That short WB 4WD could probably get in an out of just about any place.

The trailer was a real piece of anthology. Only a handful of Champlain Sept-Îles trailers was painted in TNT post 1986 worldwide standard livery because the integration of the division in TNT Overland Express in 1987.

However, this specific trailer with few others was always operated by TNT Québec Group (the photo was taken in 1991) to move freight in truckload quantity on specific lines in partnership with Overland.

I enclosed an interesting and comprehensive video showing how TNT have brought the Australian methods on the European continent.
