    Hello friends,

I have a 2010 kenworth t800 with a Cummins isx and I have cleaned it’s dpf filter just recently. However there are times where so much white smoke comes out my muffler and then stops and comes back sometime later. In a 10-12 hour drive it will have white smoke around 3 times for around 1-2 hours each time where the smoke comes out in 2 second bursts.
    Any help will be great!

If it’s not using coolant ,Sounds like it’s doing a regen I’d look at the 7 th injector .

They cleaned the DPF but how was the catalyst ahead of it (the DOC)? When the catalyst starts to fail it will start to smoke white I believe.

I've heard that is also a symptom of a bad def doser valve

Take it to Cummins, not a dealer.

It looks very similar to the DPF and it should be mounted just ahead of the DPF (exhaust should flow through it first, then into the DPF).

    Gurjap Thanks this.
