Spent over 15 hours trying to get a loaded semi through a mountain pass. He blew out his driveshaft on the icy 13% grades. And yes, this road is posted no trucks with a big sign on either end. I was first on scene and tried to get him hooked and going but ended up having to call for help.

    The scenery was georgous tho.

I dont really even know. There was a bit of a language barrier but I *think* he was trying to get to I-91 by going due west from the mill in Rumford, ME. He said "90" but that just doesnt make sense. I do know he had another pickup in Delaware scheduled for today so who knows where he was going.

Ncdriver was that the "crash road?" Running directly basically to the river? I remember that from when I was training up there.... that hill is no joke.

East B Hill rd, between Andover and Upton. Not fun lol. It runs along the river from Andover for about 3 or 4 miles nice and flat and then its all uphill for 2-3 miles at a ridiculous grade. And thats just the first hill.

I think the "crash rd" you are thinking of is going to the mill in Jay which ends right at the river at a T intersection going downhill pretty steep. No way one of our trainers would have taken you up to the one this guy was at even in summer lol.

the tow bill for this guy was over 10k...

Lol yeah couldn't remember if it was the Jay mill or not that sounds right. I thought they said that was the name of the road though but who knows lol was busy trying to absorb everything I could. That is the road yep.

No loads today happily got home super early prior to this storm hitting the north east. Travel bans are going up all over already anyway so wouldn't have been able to do much anyway.
