I have the same issue right now, its vibrating cab above 60mph, new 10 tires. Normal wear, alignment was done, new brakes(adjusted)no mechanical was found by Freightliner mechanics(they’re stupid) Shakes only with trailer!!! Trailer has no issues with tires and etc. shaking appears every 5-7 sec kinda amplitude. I do not want to waste money and time for just swapping parts. Any ideas truckers?

    THIS.

These things came out back in the 90's and were discarded as rubbish quite fast.

If you are going to get balanced, you have to do it on a machine BIG enough to do whatever you are balancing with a touch so light that if you put a pencil anywhere on a floating wheel or tire being balanced (Or both) it will feel that pencil.

Airplane propellers used to be balanced to where you can put a kleenex, like a half sheet anywhere on a blade and out of balance it goes. You would be surprised at the precision required of them.

There is nothing more I can offer here. You are doing very well and are others in this thread nailing down that little problem.

I had a similar issue with a Century class freightliner I bought years ago brand new. It had a vibration since the day I bought it (brand new). I kept taking it back to the dealer and getting it checked out to no avail. They could never find the issue. I drove the truck for years like that. Then one day, I was delivering a load and shut the truck off at the guard shack to talk to the guard, when I tried to re start the truck, I had nothing, wouldn't start. Yard guy tried to pull me so I could try to pop start it, nothing. Some electrical short in the truck. I had the truck towed to a repair shop. They fixed the electrical issue, then the next day, I get in the truck and low & behold it was smooth as glass, no more vibration. This made me nervous as I had gotten used to the vibration over the years. The next day, getting off an off ramp in Vermont, the transmission went. Got that fixed, then never had a vibration in the truck again after that. Sold the truck 2 years later. Not saying it's your tranny, but if all else fails and you still have the same issue, it might be worth getting it checked out. Mine had a manual Eaton fuller 13 speed.

tires are not necessarily not going to be round just because they are new, just by the way. My Dad used to take his truck to a place in Southgate CA and get them trued, they would actually trim rubber off the tires to true them, and I don't recall exactly how many miles but I think around 60 or 70K he would mover them to the trailer. He was religious about having them trued before running them. Funny what you remember, the guys name was Dwayne and he drove Edsel's the the rear window would roll down, the rear not the side.

Have you checked to make sure dteer tires are on right. I have had them mounted off center . Generally makes it bounce and steering wheel shske badly .
Just look at the line on tire that is a 1/4" or do from wheel. When jacked up it should be spaced evenly all the way around wheel

They call them freight shakers for a reason . I drove 3 of them. They shake s lot.
One thing you can do is fix the ride height . It is actually not tall enough. Cut rod and use a rubber hose and two clamps to extend it 1/4 to 1/2 inch or so. It helps s lot. If you have cups eating into drive tires, that is why.
