Nobody uses them anymore for some reason. Last time I was table to talk to a LOT of people on it at the same time was in Indianapolis over 4 years ago. Since then it's been like screaming "hello" in the middle of a literal ghost town. I don't even see or hear any shippers or receivers requiring it anymore

Likely the fact 90% of drivers dont speak English. I usually only have limited talk wIth the regulars on my Line Haul...
Now I was looking for a magnetic antennae last week and got one and it included this TRC 451 all for $30....just what I dont need but dragged it homemile marker 27, Flat Earth Trucker, Rideandrepair and 3 others Thank this. -
