We have a truck taken out of rotation, and will begin to restoration process. My question is, what type of insurance do you get to move it from show to show, and from shop to shop?

I would think non trucking liability.

Gulfway or Hagerty are both vintage and antique truck insurers.
I’ve had 3 trucks on a Gulfway policy for 18 years.
Give me a few and I will get the exact amount. I’m thinking it’s $500 a year for all 3 combined. That includes $20,000 value for each truck. Collision, fire, and theft replacement.
You can set your own value and price will reflect that. -
Are you planning on driving it or hauling it around on a trailer?

This was exactly what I was looking for, gave them a call.
Thanks

I’ve been informed by my CFO that we are now for the last 5 years using Travelers and it is $376 a year for all 3 trucks. She liked their mileage policy for show use much better
062 Thanks this. -
I'll try them next, Hagerty will only insure, if its older than 25 years.

Used to be a place in Knoxville called Classic Truck Insurance, they did things like that too.
