Hello I have an international prostar with Cummins ISX and about 900,000 miles has had in frame overhaul about 250,000 miles ago
I have had this truck for the past hundred thousand miles and my oil pressure has always shown between 28-31psi cruising 70mph. Idle 12-13 psi
Has a lot of power and no issues. I just
Want to know if this is normal oil pressure or should I replace some thing

cold engine: idle 30psi and at 70mph i get 40psi
Warm engine: idle 12-13 and at 70mph i get 28-31psi -
Put a proper gauge on it first before you panic. Dash gauges aren't really accurate.
70 mph means nothing. Oil pressure is RPM dependant. -

2007 cm 870 when I overhauled it put in a new oil pump it was 22# at idle and 32# running down the road.

Appreciate it guys thank you
more info:
65mph 1400 rpm : 31psi
70mph 1500 rpm : 29psi
75mph 1600 rpm : 28psi
shouldnt it be the opposite, the more rpms the more psi.
