Wow that’s too bad. That’s quite a deal when you own your land but can’t park your own property on it. Makes me glad I live in Arkansas. I park on the shoulder of the road we live on and nobody gives a hoot.

avoid any neighborhoods ,new or old. the city or town can change zoning at any time.

I know this first hand. parking was fine according to covenants, but city passed a new one for city wide zoning.

    Extra-territorial jurisdiction.
Property located outside the current bounds of a cities borders but they can tell citizens what they can do with the property. There is some expectations that the property will at some time be annexed to the city.

Before we moved to Tn. my wife called the mayor about trucks. He said mam, if you can get your truck down the street we have no problem. We bought 3 acres out of town. It's been great.

Arkansas is good, a little hilly. I see a lot of campers on some places.

Un-incorporated much different than city. I used to live in reno fernley area. Silver springs used to be nothing but I haven't been there in years. Ask real estate person to get the info for you. ( in writing)

I'm from Arkansas originally. It seems to be less restricted than many other places. I'm seriously considering moving back.

I live within city limits ( Pop. 500 +/- ) and we can build a house here without dealing with permits and such. Truck parking, no problem.

It would never even occur to me to check if I lived outside city limits on some acreage.
