    Temp today around 40, tonight -1. Light rain falling now south if Minneapolis but they have issued a BLIZZARD WARNING starting 12pm.

    Blizzard means 1 inch an hour or more plus winds in excess of 40 MPH..

    Freezing rain, ice...if your dispatch tries to force dispatch you tell 'em to stick it!!

    Yeah I got a thread going on the eastern part of ND and western MN. The winds are cranking up here at the house in Mapleton, ND. We got about 2-3 inches of snow, but the wind whipping it around made it worse.

    No joke...We live 'bout 120 miles SW of Mpls and just before I couldn't see the house when I decided I was done welding in the shop - The house is maybe 30 yards away. It looks like I picked a bad day to not connect buildings with a rope for direction. I made it though thanx to the beer can trail.

    i90 is shut down from Sioux Falls to Albert Lea MN.

    Very strong winds today in Iowa. Saw numerous houses with parts of roofs ripped off or siding ripped off esp around Cedar Rapids.

    That area had the 110 MPH derecho in Aug now more damage- that town can't catch a break.
