Hi,
guys I’m looking at this truck it’s a 2000 kenworth t600 with a little over a million on the miles.
how are these engines can these go maybe another 200-300k before a rebuild since it has already one mill on the odometer
this truck is in auction what would you pay maximum for it?
things I see is air compressor needs changed and ac compressor as of visual check.
It’s a 10 speed
Can’t remember the ratio
but attached is pics and I drained some oil for oil sample that’s attached as well.

Stock,im afraid to do anything to it that will mess it up.
Will drop a two or three gears fully loaded cause tthere is big drop in the rpm every time i shift,a 13 speed will be nice. -
Ours is a 1998 Ford Louisville with a 475 6TS.
Over a million miles of hard use. Almost 39,000 hours. Three transmissions. A snapped drive shaft which also destroyed a 46,000 front and rear diff.
Did a lot of highway, now is a lot of short trips, idling, heavy haul.
This year I put a turbo and 6 injectors in it with a wiring harness. Bumped the tune a bit to 525 hp.
This engine is still working good. -
Caterpillar Cowboy and Shawn2130 Thank this.
