I used to pick up from conway freight in that town all the time and take the loads into Canada so the local guys could get home at night. Actually got to play a Godin guitar at the actual Godin guitar place picking up coming back once out if frenchie land. Nice memory jamming out with a bunch of people that barely spoke English. They gave me a drink and everything.

Might look into them they had a bunch of weird extra type loads like that.

 

Tonawanda is a nice area on the north side of Buffalo. I deliver there several times a year, mostly when it snows lol. Finding local work should not be a problem. Good luck with the move.

I work out of Tonawanda-actually a great little spot for local work. Several line haul outfits have terminals there-r&l, od, ups, ward, saia, yrc, land air, abf. It’s also where the majority of the gas and asphalt are hauled out of in Buffalo, so several fuel hauling outfits have terminals there too.

 

You shouldn't have an issue finding local work. Get outside of town a bit and that's a nice area to raise a family, minus the snow Lol

Plenty of good exercise with package delivery; FedEx, UPS, Amazon, and others.
I see them daily where I live and all the men and women look fit and in good physical condition.
