I always call before leaving the shipper

 

you can get these automatic trucks stuck on a god #### banana peel if they don’t have full lockers.


Haven’t been stuck since moving back into a proper 13 speed with a diff lock. Well, I’ve been stuck in some ####, but been able to get out on my own.

 

Ended up coming outta the house this morning for a run up towards Rocky Mount.


Kicking some rocks and taking a nap in Kenly.

 

Not a bad idea lol I’ll call if I’m gonna be late but honesty I just turned and burned, didn’t realize it

 

Always call if its a jobsite atleast 1 or 2 days before delivery. .. if its first come first serve warehouse type of place i dont bother calling... Around the holidays always call to make sure they are open.... And always call if it says onur bills to call the customer. There is usually information that u need to get when it says that...

 

I’m swapping trailers with someone nearby lol

 

Well at least now I know it’s definitely my job to call because until now I didn’t know if someone ekes would; maybe? Yeah I know I’m an idiot

I called the guy and he was like:
“You sound like the John I was supposed to swap with in Richmond, you know the one that bumped that truck”
“HAHAHA yeah man I thought Western would keep ya”

 

unless it’s an OTIS load you’re under.


You don’t call, ever. Just show up on time. Not early. Not late. On time. That’s tougher than you think for some of the professionals out here.
