can somone give me some guidance to adjusting this clutch. I’ve only done the push in style.
I believe I pull this bolt and little bracket and pry to adjust but I want to confirm before I go ahead and do it.

I should say I have close to 0 free play

Yup! Gotta spin that ring in there. Can't remember which direction but if you've done clutch adjustments before you'll figure it out no problem. They make a tool for it but I've gotten by with a flat screwdriver or small prybar.

Remove the bolt and key. Push in the clutch. Turn the toothed wheel clockwise until your 1/2" brake to bearing gap is achieved. Reinsert the lock key and bolt.
There is a handled tool that threads in where the bolt goes. Should be able to get bu without it.Final Drive and Hulld Thank this. -
Yup pull the bolt & tab. Turn the ring clockwise . Sometimes the rings do seize I've had to use an air hammer & long bit to move it
Hulld Thanks this. -
Yes
Pull the bolt and bracket have someone hold the clutch down.
Then use a pry bar if you don’t have the correct tool and pry the notched wheel around clockwise till you get the correct free play. -
Yeah I managed to get it with pry bars and a couple taps with a punch. I’d like to get the tool though. Probably makes it a breeze!
In all the years I’ve only done the push in style until today. -
I bought the tool. Used it once before I quit working on trucks. Seem to remember it was a PITA to use.
Hulld Thanks this. -
It’s a bar with two opposite right angle bends in it with a slot that has a 3/8 bolt in it.
Way quicker and less complicated with a pry bar.pup, AModelCat and Final Drive Thank this.
