Stevens doesn't force leasing. But they strongly push/encourage it.
JolliRoger, Brettj3876, born&raisedintheusa and 2 others Thank this. -
Stevens probably ship you to Denver, Colorado for school.
Swift Refrigerated ship you to Salt Lake City, Utah.
Wilson ship you to either Missoula, Montana or Springfield, Missouri. -
At least you're not forced to lease there.Wasted Thyme Thanks this. -

The good thing about the lease at Stevens is it is a walk away lease. So if you are not making it. You can go back to company driver. Plus they don't force dispatch the contract drivers.

Naw. Just pointing out the difference.
Brettj3876, Cat sdp and Scooter Jones Thank this. -
From the videos I watched online Prime seems to want to get a driver in their Trucks with their lease option programs especially with the recruiter mentioned 'even with bad credit. They have their own in house credit program. Imo that's crazy because 99.9% of the time it's a 17%, 19.9% rate or more so the time it takes for a buyout option it's worth 2 trucks in payments.
GoneButNotForgotten and Chinatown Thank this.
