I’m thinking about leasing one of my trucks on for sand hauling. Many places say they only want O/O. Has anyone ever ran into issues leasing a truck on that’s practically a company truck? The current driver operates under my authority

If it’s that fine sand for drilling I’d not want to own a truck hauling it, that sand gets into everything, it’s so fine it’ll get into the engine and you’ll be rebuilding quickly.
Just FYI.
Knew a guy who had 5 trucks hauling and he rebuild 3 and had sand in the engine. -

Sand is as hit or miss as gas station sushi. You could eat it everyday for weeks and be fine then suddenly you're sick and out for weeks
