If you live in a somewhat rural area, look for agriculture jobs. You seem to be worried about being trained, you have a CDL now, drive fool!

I really thought I wanted a local job when I got my CDL. Was OTR for about a year. Got a beverage delivery job with Coca Cola. God how I hated that job!! Between my 35-40 minute commute each way, 12 hours at work MINIMUM! The only thing I did at home was sleep, eat, shower, and s#!+. After several months I went back OTR. Give it a shot......you may like it. Certainly wasn't my cup of tea. Glad I did it though........got the idea out of my head how wonderful a local gig would be!
