Has anyone taken a vacation outside Canada during COVID19

You can inform them you'll be likely coming back with Coronavirus, and inquire which provisions will they have in place available for you upon return. I don't assume you work in Parliament, so all the necessary laws and regulations do apply!

 

Its non essential travel, so you have to 14 day or else! lol

Neighbour just returned from Mexico; said they only had to do a test and one day quarantine waiting on test results.

 

We count on you to strangle your neighbours in their sleep, you know, to protect and save the rest of us

 

I went to Costa Rica in November for 3 weeks. Came back and I had to quarantine for 14 days. Although I only quarantined for 7 days and worked the other 7 days.

My company didn't really care as work was already slowing down a bit. Make sure you take enough vacation time to offset that terrible 14 day quarantine if you do decide.

 

I know some folks from Canada who just came to visit their parents over the holidays. They were going to quarantine 14 days when they got back.

 

No, you cannot enter upon arrival without a negative test, else it's a $500 fine.

 

Glad I've never had any interest in leaving the country.
