I think they only service their own truck stops too, no external customers, which is another plus. I got a tentative offer over the phone this morning. It sounds pretty darn good to me. Although it’s working every weekend, it’s 4-12s.

    bentstrider83 and McUzi Thank this.

What area? Are you working both sat and sun? Or just one of them days?

Days or nights? I’d do it in a heartbeat. They are a good company to work for.

Impressive as well, given how new you are to driving.

Both......Fri/Sat days and Sun/Mon nights. 12 hrs each shift. It basically covers the other drivers days off.

Yeah, I had talked to the manager when I was in school but they only had a dry-van position delivering tires and it was OTR M-F with $6/hr less pay. This position looks pretty darn good though. I’ve Loss Prevention & Safety experience in retail/grocery, and I think that’s somewhat helped me convince driver managers that I’m into being safe, haha. Plus I think they like that I did a 160-hour trucking school. And I’ve cleanDMV/criminal histories. Plus, the primary factor, it’s hard to find good drivers.

    McUzi Thanks this.

Im gonna apply for TWIC tonight, then figure out when I can actually do the fingerprints. Then talk to him again. So I’ve a minute to think about it. But, I’m very strongly leaning towards it, yes.

Do it man, from a guy that envies a driver living within a Gemini Transport hiring area.

Does Gemni tell you which rack to use or do you choose your
    self?
