My dream truck? Mack R688, coffin sleeper, camelback suspension, with a V8 Mack engine and a 13 speed.

In reality though, a W900, 62 aerocab flattop sleeper. 565 Cummins, 13 speed, 3.36 rears. Had a buddy with that setup, and it was pretty sweet. Unfortunately for him, he sold it after his divorce.

    Vampire and Brettj3876 Thank this.

One that runs on air, has plenty of horsepower, never breaks down and is totally maintenance free, and runs for ever...

Paid cash for a new 2019 KW T680 and Utility reefer a couple years ago and for the most part they've both operated flawlessly. So I guess in that respect I'm driving my dream truck.

My personal dream truck is a 1972 K-5 Blazer fully restored. My plan is to get on as soon as I retire, which will hopefully be this year.

Oh, and add portal axles as well. Some extra ground clearance is always good.

I get that some people want to go camping in a tent all their lives, but if I'm spending my week in the truck I like to have a bit of comfort. My only complaint right now is cooking and cleaning is an outdoor/out of truck ordeal that just wastes time. I just wish I could have a way to make dinner and clean up that didn't take me two hours total.

86scotty, tommymonza and petefan4000 Thank this.
