if its a automatic only cdl with automatic truck i could see your dream as possible. Stick shift, you will lose a trans very often amungst other driveline components and you will be upside down on repairs

But hey, if you have a vision and a plan, you are good to go. Insurance would be difficult and very very very expensive id imagine. Its 6k just for me with a perfect record and just me as the driver. Your taking in dozens of high risk individuals on the road everyday with no cdl or experience . They probably want 1 thousand a day or more. and im not kidding

    1. The fact is that trucking schools are seen as nothing more than a waste of time to the vast majority in the industry AND those who are about to walk into the door.
    2. Good instructors and trainers are TRAINED to be so. No one is born to do it. Are you Trained to be an instructor?
    3. Get the money up front.. a HUGE number of people who you train this week... will not be driving a truck in a few months
    4. The default rate for trucking school loads is well over 75% (or was)
    5. You need room to train, and I mean a lot of it. Range work is one of the most important thing for drivers.. the skills test is failed a majority of the time on the pre-trips mainly on the in cab tests and the backing range is where most drivers need the most work.
    6. Relative and timely transportation information and the means to document the training (computer based training is best for documentation and scoring). I could write about this topic all day.

Easy. You are a fly by night. You'll never get the number of students needed to be in the black for a few years. You'd already need a million to start. Coat of property, trucks, license, insurance, training, and advertising. Salaries for your instructors. I suspect if you had that kind of money you'd not be trolling this website.
