    The point im trying to make is if you cant pay the 8000 bill what are you going to do when the 38000 dollar truck breaks and it will. If your just sticking the bill to the guy that towed it then you don't belong in Trucking .

    If the repair is because you rolled it, do you not have insurance? Does it not cover physical damage and recovery/tow costs?

    So the $10k tow bill must've included recovery as well or else you got royally screwed for a tow. I had a truck towed about 200 km in BC and it cost me $1,000 taxes included.

    $10,000 tow bill? Did you drive down a mine shaft, and they had to create a new tunnel to get you out?
