What I am doing is not optimal nor it needs to be applauded. I wanted to make a statement that for me it is the final result that counts. My truck is paid off too but I may need to get a replacement sooner than I think. I am glad that with every month I can squeeze more juice from it. $15 K in maintenance and repairs last year. Every one additional month feels like a bonus at this stage. Still, the white rascal shows all the vital signs. For now, I don't want to slow down too much...maybe this way I'll be able to skip those $1.16 per mile trips in future. What was it, again...? "Make hey while the sun shines".
