Cummins X15 RPM ?

    What is max rpm this engine should be run at? I Didn’t split 8th gear today and hit 1800 rpm at highway speed before I realized it and up-shifted to 8 high. I’m no mechanic, any harm in this? Usually I up-shift @ 1500. Is it possible to over-rev an engine like the Cummins X15?

    No . I run 1500 rpm all day long. Keep it under 2000 and u will be fine
