I thought I was the only one! My wife always laughs at me when I try to pull into a parking spot in our pickup. I finally figured out that it's much easier for me to back in.

Curbed = Canned. That is absolutely sad that they impose that on y’all. Start looking for something better as soon as possible.

I wouldn’t tell your company. Every single driver has rubbed a curb, it happens. You might want to look elsewhere if your company is willing to fire you over rubbing against a curb.

Although curbing your tires will get you a failure on your road test at DMV. There are times (in this business) when you will have to perform a small miracle to get that beast where you want it to go. But hey, that's trucking ! Take note at truck stops that have big boulders near the driveways, and most of the boulders have been "re-arranged" by what ? Truck drivers who can't judge distances ! And you have all the room in the world coming in from a wide street to enter.

Late to the party but it is what it is. Do east coast enough and it's a daily occurrence. Just crawl super slow over the curb

Fire ya, for jumping a curb, thats nuts. Our company expected us to "jacknife" over some unused railroad tracks, 40 feet from a concrete slab dock at one customer.Had to do it just right to avoid bending your landing gear.Lol

    OldeSkool and Brettj3876 Thank this.
