I don't know about the rest of the states but heating oil in California is just about extinct. When everybody was faced with putting expensive scrubbers on their burner exhaust stacks or going to another form of energy most of them switched.
There was state and federal grant money available to help municipalities convert to electric or propane but no state money would pay for scrubbers. Everybody got the message.
We still haul a little heating oil into southern Oregon and eastern Nevada but it's not much and it's not often.

In the northeast #6 oil is extinct and #2 oil is almost extinct and really only moves when it’s -20F. Then all you do is sit in line......

and the nit wit companies will move 2 oil for next to nothing.......

Only thing that would make fuel hauling better for me is if I could do it working bankers hours.

Nothing beat pulling into a place like Kroger and knowing it would be hours before they unloaded you. I really did love getting paid to sleep or watch TV.

I'm glad there's drivers like you. I would go insane or tell the yard dog to take a break and I'll shag trailers for them

Badmon, scott180 and Mooseontheloose Thank this.

Not saying I loved it but after driving all night to get there it had its perks. I did have my breaking point after spending two days at the Frys in Tolleson, AZ. And because I was 7 minutes late at the guard shack checking in I got zero detention
