Stage equipment headed to Tampa out of L.A. area. They said it's some kind of super game that's supposed to be a big deal...

They called for 6' tarps, my 8' drops won't even reach the deck, so we're rolling naked.

Yeah, and then they expect you to tear up your equipment when they couldn't even be bothered to get their crap straight in the first place. I'm not gonna waste a grand worth of tarps when they couldn't be bothered to give correct dimensions.

Some kind of plastic wrap. Broker said 8ft tarps but the 4fters worked just fine.

Loaded in jersey headed to oregon.

That would suck trying to get tarps rolled out on that anyhow... You dodged a bullet...

Are they even having fans at the Superbowl this year?

A few years ago, was hauling all the stage, and scaffolding stuff for the Xgames. Not sure how we ended up with the contract. Loaded out of a place right by the freeway in L.A. They just stacked as much as they could on the trailer. No tarps required.

Well they're having a half time show. I haven't followed pro sports in years so my knowledge is limited. We were warned about a health screening at the stadium, so there's that to look forward to.

We asked why they wanted it tarped, he said to keep the rain off. I told him it could use some rain to clean it up a little.

I think sometimes they just make #### up , think of any old reason to justify a tarp and to make the poor driver climb around like a monkey on all of that ... Good way to break something...how come the guys that always want a tarp, are never around to help?

These guys actually were. They came out with a couple of scissor lifts and took the padding and the tarps up. After we spread the rear tarp I'm like um.... your load is too tall for my 8' drops and we ain't got any bigger.
