I keep my money, wallet, med card, etc. in the sleeper under the corner of the mattress, while I'm sleeping.
Only way a thief can get to it is to move my pillow and my body so the thief can pull up the corner of the mattress.

I am going to speculate that most had an upper bunk and it's kind of like a dresser at home. You put your stuff up top not thinking someone will take the window out. I assume you just pull the weatherstripping and the window comes out pretty easy.

It’s not so much the wallets but the semi trucks in general. Thieves are under the assumption that 18 wheelers are rolling ATMs,easy to knock over with little or no resistance.

JoeyJunk, D.Tibbitt and truckdriver31 Thank this.

Somebody will put a few rounds of resistance into them sooner or later.
