Actually, the market is doing what I expected it to do. Oil and coal futures are going to drop like a rock over the next 4 years, and alternative energy and mega tech companies will flourish. As oil production slows, prices for fuel will skyrocket. Wall Street is also looking forward to the Chinese market opening back up and getting back to business as usual destroying the US middle class. Those companies we were all crapping on a couple pages ago will be getting handsomely rewarded for their loyalty and help getting the new administration elected, and their values will skyrocket. Many of the positions in the new administration are being filled by executives from those same companies, as long as they aren't white straight men.

Inflation is coming in a big way, so sell real estate or re-finance now if you can. We'll be going from the lowest interest rates in 60 years to the highest since the Carter administration.

    Joe,

I’m trying to be of the same mind. I’m in this for the long haul and will look for any advantage I can to make it through things.

My Dad told me recently that with new challenges come new opportunities. Trust me I’m gutted but have always planned for the worst and hoped for the best. Let’s do whatever we can to position for success. I remember during Obama the 179 deduction was always not decided until literally a week to go in that current year.

Good news is with 45 we have at least some certainty for now until it’s changed. I spent over 800k on equipment this year and shouldn’t have to spend over maybe 200k additional for the next two years. In theory I should be in good shape for a while when it comes to taxes along with what I have left over from previous years.

I hate what’s happening but let’s keep our head up and be as efficient as humanly possible.

I don’t disagree. I told my wife literally less then 30 mins ago that we may have to put majority interest in her name in order to not be targeted. When presumably 46 says recent that he intends to focus EVERYBODY but the WHITE MAN then we must take notice. There may be come a time where the white woman isn’t even enough. Crazy, I know.

Just in case anybody needed a good laugh.

Twitter condemns Uganda for blocking social media apps and censoring internet before key election (washingtonexaminer.com)

Twitter is openly condemning internet service providers blocking social media apps in the run-up to an election in Uganda as it takes criticism for alleged censorship on its own platform.

“Ahead of the Ugandan election, we're hearing reports that Internet service providers are being ordered to block social media and messaging apps,” the social media giant posted in a statement on Tuesday.

“We strongly condemn internet shutdowns – they are hugely harmful, violate basic human rights and the principles of the #OpenInternet,” the statement continued.

The company argued that “access to information and freedom of expression, including the public conversation on Twitter, is never more important than during democratic processes, particularly elections.”

Since we're on the topic of hypocrisy, let's not forget the Tik Tok ban.
