My drivers are supposed to check fuel before leaving, and ask for my credit card if they need fueling.
If I had a driver with that sort of attitude, I would frankly get another driver.
Can I get a copy of a fuel receipt from the truck stop?

So what's the outcome? ?
-
The outcome is people run companies and hire drivers to operate equipment worth tens of thousands of dollars hauling goods worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, but don't trust them with $300 in fuel.
There's no other industry where employees are regularly expected to pay, in either money or time, for the ineptness or apathy of employers, middlemen, and customers.
