Quite the interesting thread here, now who else has tried these things?

 

Even just looking at these things I immediately knew these wouldn't work as they're way too small for the wheel sizes you're dealing with here. And seriously, do you think that something which just straps on to the wheels like that is gonna help?

Chains not only work, they're a LOT cheaper.

 

Yeah but chains only work if you put them on before you get stuck!

 

While I do think those truck claws could work in theory they are stupid over priced and would really need more than one per wheel to do much good

 

Yeah I bet he put it on one tire or even 2 and doesn't realize he would most likely need 4minimum or even 8 if stuck badly enough. I'm more interested in seeing his video of the fail!!!
