Don't know what the prices are for flats. As my wife says write down pros and cons of each and then drive yourself crazy trying to figure out which is the best way to go.
Sorry but can't help much on this

If you can swing it a new or used would be good. Then hopefully you can put your curtainside on it and replace curtain.

@Crazytrucker77 thx for posting your numbers. One thing I don't understand in your business model is your truck expense. What I mean by that is you're leasing a truck to the tune of $2500 a month but you're still responsible for the maintenance and repairs? Maybe I'm reading that wrong?

I think there are full service lease that are about $3000 a month and the truck is under warranty and maintenance is paid for.

    Just some food for thought.

p.s. What is a OR mileage tax?

You are reading it correctly. Nobody in my area offers a full maintenance lease to a single truck operation. I looked into that last year. OR milage tax is Oregon milage tax. They don't participate in the IFTA program. They charge a per mile tax of .225 cpm.

Bean Jr. and 59EX Thank this.
