I used to pull vans for Western Express. Discovered this mess at a drop yard in Hopedale, Massachusetts. The forward duallys were about a hundred yards from the trailer.

The tires must have burnt off the spindle as the driver pulled into the lot.

    Yes, sir. "America's Finest".

May God protect us all. :salute:

You know, our glorious fleet manager at swift bought at least 1 ex prime flatbed trailer. Or someone at swift did anyway. 53 with a 10ft, Reitenouer i belive.

Well they put it on the dedicated account with us hauling drywall at the time. Driver had only had it a run or two. Thats when we noticed the broken axel mounts on the rear axel and red tagged it.

I saw the trailer two years later, they replaced the whole bloody axel along with the brand new mounts.

I mean we really try hard to make shure these guys dont jacknife a loaded spread. Buuuuuuuttttttt..........

They're doing all kinds of weird stuff lately. Building materials are in such high demand that they're shipping whatever however they can.

That looks like it is stacked nice!, I hauled a load of mixed soil and mulch from Fountain to Plainview and they tried sloughing off a couple loose, loose pallets of mulch. Finally got them to get rid of one pallet and reorder them on deck.
