Why would someone waste any energy worrying about this? I completely understand if it were an after the deal was struck charge they tried to pull. I would walk from the deal if it were an after the deal extra charge. If someone agrees on a price of a car and that is one of the line items in the agreed upon deal I don’t understand. Car Max totally has the right to set up their logistics network without allowing their customers to alter it simply because they may understand logistics. GM doesn’t allow someone who lives across the street from a plant to come pick up their new car to save on the destination charge and I doubt Car Max allows a customer to alter their transportation network either. Please explain further.

You don't think they would run that far with one unit do you. I left Dearborn with 9 cars on the truck one time, 8 of them went to Cincinnati the last one went to Homestead Fl. But that was Ford, money to waste.

Would you really expect any company to ship a car 3,000 miles with zero return on investment. They are a for profit business & CarMax charges more for their vehicles than most used car lots.

I am against people being taken advantage of. But do not see the issue here. You have the choice to purchase as the deal is laid out or move on to the next lot.

I thought the same when I visited their website.

I will say my deliveries at CarMax have gone a lot smoother.. The stores I have been to haven't been bad at all. Chattanooga has probably been the best those guys are super cool. :headbang:

It was fairly dark so I couldn’t see the tractor very well across the interstate but it looked similar to your rig.
