Driver Struck & Killed By Police Vehicle

Hmmm , doubtful anything will come of this...but if it was the other way around, truck hitting the cop, he would already be in cuffs

 

10 to 1 the ossifer was on his phone. See just as many of them looking at their phones, or the laptop in their cruiser, while driving as anybody else.

 

So we have to slow down or move over for them but they don’t have to return the courtesy eh?

 

as truckers, when did we ever deserve or even earn courtesy from anyone..??

True. But in his case there were THREE things that could have happened. 1) the cop stops to give him a roadside and check his papers. 2) cop stops and offers him nothing other then friendly help. Calls Local Tow company, mechanic, or something like that. 3) cop doesn’t stop but safely rolls on by WITHOUT hitting anyone.
Never would of thought #4 was an option.

 

Seriously? All dark clothing at night? Condlences and all that yet sheesh! Some common sense could have kept the guy alive

 

Safety vest might’ve saved his life. Ugly or not it works

 

Just in case you didn't know, they are exempt from those laws.
