Those companies I listed won't be able to help you if you can't leave the state.
You can try TransAm though; I think they have a dedicated run between Dallas and Houston where you don't leave the state. Call and ask about that run.

 

Try Western Express and TransAm; maybe have something in Texas where you don't leave the state.

 

Don't buy a truck until you price insurance. Can't even leave the lot with a truck without insurance.

Some outfit will hire you though; usually a small trucking company. Knock on enough doors and you'll be hired.
