Lol... Gotta laugh when you here somethimg lile this:

"based on the past driving record of defendant Singh and the obvious disregard for known and posted weight limits"

I'd bet he's not even a driver anymore... Or at least I hope he's not.

The ACLU will no doubt come parachuting in to help the poor, downtrodden, disenfranchised Mr Singh.

Driver likely went by the pictures.

It says transport trucks are allowed.

Meanwhile a fully loaded Dually pickup with salter and plow on will easily overload the bridge.

It seems as thought a full understanding of the sign was lacking. Reading is one thing but understanding what you read is another. Its apparent that the driver didn't understand 'The Sign all' which seems to be happening a lot more these days!

Probably didn't have a clue what the "6 T" meant. Maybe didn't know how much a "T", or a ton, is either. Or how to figure how many of these "T" things his truck weighed.
Not slamming the foreign name either. I've met a lot of red blooded American high school grads that could tell you all of that either.

I see they're hiring,,,hey, what's all the fuss, he went over bridges like this in India all the time. I hope it was a Volvo. I swear, you get what you pay for,,,water contamination, recovery, new bridge for Arkansas, oh this will cost them plenty.

My guess is, by looking at the road, there was no place to turn around, so he took a gamble and lost.
